Matrox has created a special customized version of the popular Matrox MXO2 LE with MAX designed specifically for playout of files received via a subscription video news service by affiliate stations. To improve newsroom workflow, you simply download your digital MPG video content feeds then use the Matrox MXO2LEMAX/MPG with the special Matrox A/V Tools playback utility as an inexpensive solution to get that video to air.
The special Matrox MXO2LEMAX/MPG gives you the tools you need to stay one step ahead of your competition. Output your digital MPG new feeds via SDI, Component or HDMI.
ONLY THIS SPECIAL SKU can be used by news affiliates for this application. Other MXO2 products will not playback MPG files originating from digital news feeds.

Minimum System Requirements:
A computer that supports Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2), such as an Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 or later.
A processor equivalent in performance to the Intel CoreDuo P8600 2.4 GHz. or faster.
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate (64-bit), Windows Vista Business or Ultimate (32- or 64-bit) with Service Pack 2, or Windows XP Professional (32-bit) with Service Pack 3.
2 GB of RAM for 32-bit Windows systems, or 4 GB of RAM for 64-bit Windows systems.
One free PCIe slot on a desktop computer to install the Matrox PCIe host adapter, or one free ExpressCard/34 slot on a laptop to install the Matrox PCIe host ExpressCard/34 adapter.
We recommend an HDMI monitor that supports 1920x1080 for previewing all HD formats, and "dot-by-dot" mode for 1:1 pixel mapping.
